Day 6

Writing this post on Day 7 technically, but let's travel back in time to chat about yesterday.

Oh, yesterday.

You were tough.

Probably the toughest day yet.

We went to the beach.

And when I usually go to the beach, that means drinks and chips and burgers and hot dogs and yummy food galore.

Rockaway beach has Rippers, which has this awesome drink called Beach Juice thats basically frozen sangria. And some of the best burgers by the beach.

Luckily, we set up camp a little bit away from that and I avoided being too tempted. However all my friends brought some of my favorite snacks (all involving cheese) and beer. Also tempting!

But we packed some lemon water, apples, Larabars, frozen grapes, and rasberries. Needless to say, I was not entirely satisfied. It was tough and it kind of bummed me out, but I felt good about not giving in.

Let's just say I'm excited to get to the point where I can have a cheeseburger without feeling bad about it.

Other than those snacks, I had scrambled eggs for breakfast with fruit, iced cold brew

For dinner, we made the same beef fried (cauliflower) rice - which was a nice treat. Clearly, I still need to work on branching out and trying new foods..

More tomorrow! Hope I can make it a full week...
